GroWrk is looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our team in a fully remote, location-agnostic role. This position involves both front-end and back-end development, using technologies such as Node.js, JavaScript, VueJs, and Tailwind. The ideal candidate will support the development and integration of our clients’ management dashboard, helping to ensure scalability, stability, and quality. This role provides an opportunity to work with modern AI tools and gain experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance code quality and development efficiency.
Development Support: Assist in the development and testing of REST APIs and integrations with HR and Asset Management Software.
UI/UX Implementation: Support the design and development of user interfaces for web applications, focusing on responsive and user-friendly layouts.
AI-Driven Development: Apply AI tools and LLMs for basic code creation, review, and testing under the guidance of senior developers.
Testing Assistance: Participate in creating and maintaining test cases to validate functionality against business requirements.
Reusable Code Support: Assist in building reusable code and libraries for future use in front-end and back-end development.
Problem-Solving: Work with team members to understand and translate simple user and business needs into functional code.
Best Practices Learning: Develop a foundation in full-stack best practices by following senior developers’ guidance and established protocols.
Issue Resolution: Help identify and resolve coding issues across the stack, collaborating closely with the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand requirements and refine solutions.
Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to grow and learn new technical skills and industry best practices.
Technical Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and web development principles.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in web development both in Frontend and Backend
Technical Skills:
Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
Good understanding of CSS, preprocessors (SASS or SCSS), and frameworks like Tailwind.
Exposure to REST APIs, either by consuming or building endpoints.
Experience with cloud-based environments and interest in learning serverless functions (Firebase Functions or AWS Lambda).
AI Interest: Interest in learning and using AI tools, such as LLMs, for coding and testing.
Agile Methodologies: Exposure to Agile methodologies or a willingness to learn within a Scrum development process.
Collaboration Tools: Basic familiarity with collaboration tools such as GitHub, Figma, and Miro.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English, with a willingness to collaborate and ask questions to improve understanding.
