About the Role

As Head of Marketing, you will own the strategy, execution, and expansion of GroWrk’s marketing function to fuel our next phase of growth. You will report directly to the CEO and work with other cross-functional leaders across the business to scale GroWrk’s revenue and build a trusted, differentiated brand.

You are comfortable as a player-coach, rolling up your sleeves to execute high-impact projects. In parallel, you’ll also be responsible for hiring, developing, and scaling a high-performing marketing team.

This role requires someone who is scrappy, resourceful, and strategic — able to drive big impact with a lean team using automation, AI tools, and creative problem solving — rather than relying solely on headcount.

This is your chance to shape a marketing strategy and organization from scratch at a fast growing startup that has strong product market fit and is ready to scale.

Key Priorities & Responsibilities

Marketing strategy: Set overall marketing goals, prioritize channels & programs, and create the operational plan to execute

Marketing team management & hiring: Manage and mentor current marketing team, identity future team needs, and hire great talent

Ensure strong execution of marketing plans: Do the work to operationalize marketing plans, create seamless process for collaboration across the teams, and make sure high quality work gets delivered on time

Cross-functional leader: Collaborate on strategy across the company, be the voice of the customer, provide the marketing perspective, and serve as the liaison between product and GTM functions.

Help build a modern, AI-powered tech stack: We do not have all of our tools, processes, and workflows build out yet. You will need to help build this out and continually innovate in this area using the latest AI & automation tools.

Product Marketing Leadership: Work with the current team to gain a deeper understanding of our audience, up-level our positioning and messaging, and communicate about the product and its benefits to our audience.

Growth Marketing Leadership: Work with the current team to up-level our growth marketing strategy, launch new channels/campaigns, and optimize conversion across the funnel so we drive better leads at lower cost.

Brand & Content Marketing Strategy: Develop GroWrk’s long-termlong term brand and content strategy, ensuring we have a differentiated brand that is well known, liked, and trusted by our target audience.

Comms: Maintain relationships and communicate with press/media about the company, product, team, and brand.

Brand: Collaborate on the company story and vision with the founding team and make sure our communications add value to our audience and maintain a high quality bar.

Partnerships & Customer Marketing: Develop relationships with ecosystem partners and customers that help us achieve goals.

Marketing Measurement, Budgeting, and KPIs: Manage the marketing budget and ensure we make sound financial investments in different marketing programs that have clear and measurable ROI


What We’re Looking For

7+ years of marketing experience, with leadership roles at B2B SAAS companies with a sales-led GTM motion

Someone who’s been here and done it all before. Ideally, you seen the journey from a few million ARR to $50m ARR and beyond

Breadth across marketing domains, with depth in at least two of these areas: ABM / enterprise marketing, demand generation, product marketing, or content marketing.

Deep experience partnering with sales teams. Hands-on experience with ABM, sales enablement, and enterprise marketing.

Proven track record driving results in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ve operated in a seed / series A startup where things are constantly shifting and you’ve been able to adapt.

Scrappy and execution oriented. You’re down to roll up your sleeves and get things done. You’re not reliant on big budgets and teams to do all the heavy lifting for you.

A strong understanding of product marketing, positioning, and content strategy.

You’re a creative, strategic, big picture thinker. You aren’t just looking to copy what competitors are doing. You’re looking for innovative ways to deliver value to our audience, build long-termlong term trust, and create a sustainable market advantage.

Proficiency with AI & modern marketing tools—you use automation and technology to enhance efficiency.

Preferably you have strong operational experience with Hubspot as the main system underpinning CRM/MAP and CMS

Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing a small but highly effective team.
