Position Overview
The Jr UX Designer position at GroWrk is tasked with creating intuitive and user-friendly designs to enhance user experience across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a foundational knowledge in UX design methodologies and be proficient in user research tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
Conduct user research to gather insights and understand user needs and behaviors.
Assist in the creation of user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.
Collaborate with product managers, and developers to implement designs that align with user expectations and enhance usability.
Participate in the development and refinement of UX prototypes for usability testing.
Analyze user feedback and activity to make data-driven design improvements.
Support the UX team in maintaining a cohesive design language across all products.
Help organize and facilitate user testing sessions to validate design concepts.
Assist in creating comprehensive UX documentation to guide project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
Experience with UX design software: Figma.
Familiarity with user research techniques and usability testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and designs to various stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
Experience in conducting user research and gathering insights to inform and validate design decisions.
Skilled in creating design briefs and wireframes that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
